From Razormaid Email Newsletter, March 15, 2006:
OH MY GAWD! Wait till you guys get your hands on the new Dart Pro
24. This new version actually makes restoration fun! I have no idea
what new algorithms they are using for all the modules (de-hissing,
de-clicking, noise print, etc...) but this thing blows away the
competition and then some.
Seriously, we have tried to release that Cristina track (which is now
on the new Class X-23) for the past 4 years, but could never get it
sounding good enough to actually put it out. For the last 4 months
or so we had been beta testing Dart Pro 24 for Andy and the boys at
Dart's tech department. Oddly enough, in all that time I never
thought of running the Cristina through DP24 until Richard showed up
and starting clicking on every music file on my computer that I did
not have locked down. When I heard it play, I immediately
thought of Dart Pro 24, but did not actually process it until Richard
left, as we were cramming to get CX-23 finished before he left.
As you can clearly hear by this recording Dart Pro 24 REALLY works
and without the need of Diamond Cut Live 6 too (the "other"
restoration software). In the past, in order to get things sounding
really perfect, it took both DC6 and Dart Pro XP to obtain the
results worthy of a Class X release. Now, with the new Dart Pro 24
you can kiss good old DC6 good bye forever! I am so happy we waited
on the Cristina track, but ever happier DART contacted us to beta
test, otherwise I would have never known how much better it is.
I know that many of you were looking for a program that could do "one
step" processing... well here it is. It takes a few minutes to setup
the multi stage process they call "Filter Builder", which allows you
to run multiple modules at the same time and test it in various parts
of the song before committing. But we have setup instructions for
that process, making that a "non issue".
...
PC users - don't bother... just buy DART PRO 24 and end the madness.
I promise, you will NOT be disappointed. Also, keep in mind
we offer free tech support on this product for those who need it from
time to time. Here is the link to try out Dart Pro for free and
hopefully purchase it as well:

I noticed that they still sell Dart Pro XP for just $99.00, but I
would shell out the bucks and get Dart Pro 24. I know it's a little
pricey ($299.00) but if you are dead serious about restoring your
vinyl to pristine quality and would like to keep your hair in the
process, just cough up the money and shut up already. So you skip
drugs for a weekend. Isn't having your $10,000+ vinyl collection
restored worth a a drug free weekend? I think so.
