ASPI drivers - Download links and resources

Note: DARTech does not provide ASPI driver download files or "host" these files in any way. You will not be able to find ASPI driver install files on our website.

Our products require an up to date installation of ASPI (Advanced SCSI Programming Interface) drivers to handle our identification of, and communication with, any installed CD-R or CD-RW CD drives. Note that this set of drivers is used to identify the following types of CD-R/CD-RW drives: IDE (a.k.a. ATAPI), SCSI or USB.

In the latest versions of all of our products, these ASPI drivers are installed (if needed) during the program's setup process. However, some users of older versions may not have them on their system. It may also be necessary to install new/updated ASPI drivers to solve problems with recognition of your particular CD-R or CD-RW drive.

If you receive any message matching (or similar to) the following, you will need to install a new/updated set of ASPI drivers for our software to perform properly:
"Unable to initialize ASPI manager. ASPI manager was not found on system."

Note: It should only be necessary to use one of the two following options to get and/or install your ASPI drivers.
